# Close

A tool that allows for the efficient closing of a session or all worksheets.

This button allows you to close certain sheets or your session in a single click. Here is what you can do with it:

-   **Close active sheet**
-   -   What it does: *Closes only the tab that is currently open (the one with the darkest color).*
    -   Example: *If you are in the "General Ledger", only that sheet will be closed.*

-   -   What it does: Keeps your active tab open and closes everything else around it.
    -   *Example:* If you are on *General Ledger*, this will close *Business*, *Address Book*, and *Data Entry*
-   **Close all sheets**
-   -   *What it does:* Clears your workspace by closing all tabs at once, without leaving the software or closing your session.
-   **Close session**
-   -   What it does: *Logs you out to allow you to switch users.*
-   **Exit software**
-   -   What it does: Closes the application completely.
    -   *Note:* The automatic backup will run by itself, and if an update has been downloaded, it will be installed when the software closes.
