FAQ - Working Hours Management

I want to enter negative hours. How can I do this?

Simply enter the number of hours preceded by the "-" symbol. The total will adjust accordingly.

How can I check my employee's banked hours?

Paid and unpaid (banked) working hours can be found in the Employee profile under the "Working hours" tab, and on the Working Hours report by specifying "unpaid hours only".

I want to pay out part of an employee's banked hours. How can I do this?

This operation is not available in this version. You can pay out banked hours for a full week. To split the payout of banked hours, you must enter these hours in different weeks.

I want to enter daily hours for my employee, but I don't have access. Why?

Working hours management must be activated in Settings (Settings menu, Settings button, Company level, Payroll item) AND the earnings must be specified in the Employee profile (Payroll menu, Employee button, Working hours tab).

I used Hours Management in SigaFinance Classic. What will happen when my data is migrated?

If this function was used in SigaFinance Classic, the information will be transferred to the tab through data migration.

Should I enter the hours in Time Management or directly during Payroll Preparation?

Both methods work well. The choice depends on your workflow. If all hours worked are also paid out, it is better to enter the daily worked hours per employee during Payroll Preparation. The Time Management button allows you to track hours and enter banked hours.
